Welcome to the Australian Journal of Early Career Research (AJECR) — an Australia-based, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, open access academic journal supporting early career researchers worldwide.
AJECR publishes rigorous, original, and ethically sound scholarship across disciplines.
“Early career” refers to the career stage of contributing authors (e.g., doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics) and does not imply reduced academic standards. All submissions are assessed using the same expectations of scholarly quality applied by established journals.
Aim & Scope
AJECR publishes rigorous, original, and methodologically sound research authored by early career researchers across a broad range of disciplines.
The term early career refers to the career stage of authors — including doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics — and does not denote or imply any reduction in scholarly standards. All manuscripts are evaluated against the journal’s quality, originality, and ethical requirements.

Current Volume
AJECR publishes on a biannual basis. Articles are released online as soon as they are ready and are compiled into the current annual volume.
